Although I see your point, I believe that the happiness of everyone should be put into consideration. Yes, people may find ways for the bad but if selling organs is legalized there would be restrictions or regulations. As you stated, illegal methods would disappear and things could improve.
Overall, I was able to recognize Kant’s argument towards organ sales.

I was constantly having to keep myself thinking. This has opened my mind to the opposing side of selling organs. If people are to sell their organs, the government should have strict and organized systems. Everyone’s health should always be kept in mind.
Overall, I truly enjoyed this blog post and it opened my mind just a little more.

Based on the events in the movie, if people were to be harmed in that way I would be heavily against it as well. Abusing the power should never be easily dismissed. I agree with your statement, that if it’s used correctly and for the good then it should be legalized and it could potentially help others live longer.
Overall, I truly learned something new and I agree on making organ sales legal, if done properly.

This does seem very true. Society is always set with different groups and backgrounds. Certain cultures have certain effects in society. It essentially shapes who we become and what is right and wrong.
Overall, I enjoyed your insight on ethical relativism.

I do agree that the main commonality we have is humanity. I also agree that the educational system may be broken. Teaching children certain lessons that although may teach us how not to repeat history, they don’t teach us to prepare for adult situations. If we learn at school that war never does anyone any good, then why can’t we be taught how to act in peace. I agree with you that although it may seem unrealistic to some, we really need to normalize this idea and even practice it as soon as we can.
Overall, I really enjoyed your blog and I felt like I learned more about peace and the educational system.

It does seem difficult to think about something like organ sales. I also do believe that it is right that all humans can do whatever they want with their bodies. Although I do believe that, I also agree that they should be safe. There is that debate that those with a more secure life won’t be as tempted or influenced to sell their organs. This is what makes legalizing organ sales worth it. I agree with you that this may give struggling or lower income people help with their issues. The money they recieve could truly save a person or their family.
I truly agree that we should allow people to say what is good for them and their body. This blog has given me a greater sense of human rights.

I agree with you that we all should have rights to our bodies as well as legalizing organ sales. Selling an organ does benefit both sides of the deal. Helping others while receiving help yourself is good for both. Although the main motive might be money, those who sell their organs can help themselves as well as their family. Yes, If our bodies are our temples, as Kant believed, hurting ourselves or putting ourselves at risk may seem like we are tempering with our body. For the good of others, Kant’s perspective might hurt more than a utilitarian one. Utilitarian perspective would be, as you said, “seeking the most good for the greatest amount of people,” which to me seems the most helpful. The two sides need each other to sort out their individual problems.
Overall, I agree with you that organ sales should be legalized.
